2011 El Niño Parade

The "El Niño Parade" is a tradicion dating back to 1820 - 1830. In 1961, the figure of "El Niño" (Jesus child, a figure deeply venerated in Ecuador), traveled to Rome to be blessed by Pope John XXIII and later went to Israel. This is why the image is called "El Niño Viajero".
